BĀNŪ PARS, “Lady of Pārs,” the name of a Zoroastrian shrine in the mountains at the northern end of the Yazd plain. Lady of Persia or Princes of Pars, was one of Yazdgered III’s daughters. After Arab’s invasion Yazdgered’s family fled. Pars Banoo separated from her family and fled to this part of the mountain. She was about to arrested, asked Ahura Mazda to help her, suddenly she disappeared and no one could find her….
